Flourish Project Management is a WA State certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) that provides full program and project management owner’s rep services.

You can engage us on day one — when your project is still in its infancy and idea stage — or at any point during design, construction, commissioning, and activation.

About Me

Great to meet you! My name is Melissa Teichman and I’ve been working in the design & construction industry for nearly 25 years. Although, I really got my start as a kid building LEGOs®, gaining inspiration from the pages of Architectural Digest® magazine and hometown favorite, Frank Lloyd Wright.

I’ve worked for general contractors and owner’s rep firms, leading projects ranging from hospitals and clinics, behavioral health, corrections, life science and labs, high tech office, assisted living, higher education, manufacturing, and Tribal.

The majority of my experience lies in the healthcare market and I love the challenges and opportunities that come from providing care and healing services to our local communities.

I learned early in my career that lasting relationships and the desire to keep learning are key. I have my MBA, Assoc. DBIA, and am heavily engaged in organizations like DBIA, WSSHE, and The Pro Shop.

I started Flourish Project Management so I could focus on the joy, growth, and sense of community that I feel when I work with clients and partners whom I share a true connection.

My goal for us is to achieve “best project ever” status.

The Flourish journey for me is all about delivering spaces where we can grow and thrive together — and it would be my honor to share that experience with you.

Healthy Start

At the outset, we engage clients in a comprehensive kick-off discussion to understand their vision, objectives, and preferences. This phase lays the foundation for a tailored approach, where we delve into the functional requirements and aspirations of your project or program.

Feedback and Execution

Your input is paramount. We actively seek feedback on proposals and planning – facilitating an iterative process that hones in on the perfect balance between your vision and our expertise. We will work together to create responsible project budgets and schedules, carefully weighing market conditions.

Analyze and Document

We will analyze and document current state, taking into account conditions, challenges, and site-specific elements so the designers and contractors can provide well-informed and coordinated designs, pricing, and outcomes.

Throughout the project, we will carefully analyze risk and provide well vetted mitigation strategies.

Onboarding Additional Team Members

When you work with us, you’re also working with an extensive network of trusted advisors and relationships that we’ve carefully built over the last two decades.

We will work with you to determine the best contracting delivery method for your project and strategize multiple paths to onboarding additional team members.

Project Implementation

With a finalized plan in hand, we orchestrate the implementation of the project. Flourish will coordinate and communicate with your stakeholders and engage with the design and construction teams, including any authorities having jurisdiction. We oversee the execution, aligning each detail with your budget, schedule, and program.

Activation

Prior to turnover, we will engage with stakeholders and our project partners to confirm we’ve met the defined vision, goals, and requirements.

This is our chance to leave a positive lasting impression. Capturing lessons learned throughout the project, and after occupancy, will give us valuable feedback that we can implement on our next project together.
